What Does It Actually Cost?
We know this is the first question on your mind. Here's a straight answer.
One of the most frustrating things about hiring a contractor is not knowing what to expect on price. We think you deserve a starting point before you pick up the phone — so here it is.
These are starting prices for typical projects in Western Massachusetts. Your actual cost depends on scope, materials, and the specifics of your home — but these numbers will give you a realistic idea of what to budget for. No bait-and-switch.

Custom Homes & Additions
Custom Homes
Building a home from scratch is the most personal (and variable) project we do. Size, site conditions, finishes, design complexity, energy systems — everything affects the number. We've seen custom homes range from the mid-hundreds to well over a million.
Rather than throw out a number that might not mean much for your project, we'd rather sit down and talk through what you're envisioning. Our consultation is free and we'll give you a realistic range based on your actual plans.

Additions & Add-A-Levels
Additions involve tying into an existing structure, which means a lot of variables — your home's current framing, foundation, roof lines, mechanical systems, and how the new space connects to the old. A 200 sq ft bump-out is a very different project than a full second-story add-a-level.
We price additions based on a thorough assessment of your home and a detailed design — not a rough per-square-foot guess. That's the only way to give you a number you can trust.
